Volunteer Support Service

Devon Voluntary Action (DeVA) offers a combination of self-search, face-to-face, email and telephone volunteering advice tailored to suit your needs delivered across Devon by our local partners through our volunteering support service.

DeVA has three Locality Volunteer Support Co-ordinators who will support and enable individuals to participate and/or volunteer within their communities. They will have oversight of volunteer delivered brokerage in their locality, develop outreach delivery of information and access across Market towns and other key locations and provide support and deliver local volunteer organiser forums.

Meet us in person!

Come and have a chat with one of our advisors where they will ask you some key questions to help them find roles that are hopefully to your liking. The questions could include: what kind of roles are you interested in? What would you like to give or gain from volunteering? When are you available?

Only you can tell us what kind of activities you might enjoy so our advisors won’t suggest a role for you. Once you have identified a role that you like, we can contact the organisation on your behalf, or if you prefer, you can call them in your own time.

We are available at various locations across the county, please Contact Us for details.

Email us!

It is also possible to email for advice and information on volunteering, although this can sometimes take longer as we like to discuss your needs with you to help us narrow down your search. Contact Us and see how we can help.
