We Want Help
Our Services are focussed on supporting groups so that they are able to provide a quality service. Our services are provided in a number of ways, through forums and networks, training and learning opportunities, one to one support, online and in person and are open to all voluntary, community, social enterprise and faith groups working in Devon. Devon Voluntary Action (DeVA) has trained professional team members who can give advice and support on any of the services outlined below. There is currently no charge for access to our services.
Our services include:
- Support with Organisational Development
- Funding Advice
- Business and Financial Planning
- Help with Quality Assurance
- Up Skilling, Workforce Development and Training
- Support in working with Volunteers
- Developing partnerships
- Groups in crisis
DeVA will operate a fair usage policy for direct support. This will be reviewed every year in April and will provide guidance on the levels of direct support available for groups.
From April 2015 this will be:
Existing Group/Organisation 3 hours
New/potential group 4.5 hours
Additional support may be available from any of the local partners, you can contact us to identify a local support package for which a small charge may be made depending on where your group/organisation is based and local funding arrangements.
